Claude Levi-Strauss

Claude Levi-Strauss often looked at the narrative structure in the terms of the binary oppositions. Binary oppositions is the opposite values which lead to the revealing of the selected media text. Claude Levi-Strauss looked past the happenings of events and mainly looked deeper into the arrangements of themes, for example if we looked at an action thriller film we would identify the series of binary oppositions as being:
Good - Bad
Hero - Villain
Peace - Violence
Peace and order - Crime
